Abdalla Selected to the Top 10 in Mississippi Business Journal’s Top 50 Under 40
FormanWatkins Partner, Mary Clift Abdalla, has been selected as one of Mississippi Business Journal's Top 50 Under 40 for 2020. The Firm is extremely proud to include, during the video presentation by the Journal, it was announced Mary Clift was honored as a Top 10 candidate among the list of 50 business leaders. As the name suggests, Top 50 Under 40 recognizes the state's 50 up-and-coming business leaders under the age of 40. Considered one of the state's most prestigious awards, the award highlights individuals who have made significant contributions to Mississippi's overall economic progress. All of the Top 50 Under 40 recipients have involvement that go beyond normal working hours. Their days are extended by a large number of civic and community activities.
Mary Clift graduated summa cum laude from The University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts and cum laude from The University of Mississippi School of Law. She has been selected to the Mid-South Rising Stars list since 2015 and to The Best Lawyers in America® since 2019. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Mary Clift serves on the board of directors for both Friends of Children's Hospital and the Greater Jackson Arts Council. Mary Clift is also a sustainer member of the Junior League of Jackson, and in past years, she served as co-chair for St. Andrew's Arts on the Green, on the gala planning committee for the Mississippi Museum of Art, and as a grief counselor volunteer with the McClean Fletcher Grief Center.
